You would think the life of a princess was a good life. Not for this princess. She was denied the ability to marry her love. She was ordered to marry the man her father, the king, demanded her to. Life was miserable.
She did find a way out, but at what cost? Things move along and she finds herself with her lover in a place that would accept them for their relationship. A place where they could live happy and free from the bigotry of her family and out from under the stress of the court.
