A Day in the Life

We have some exciting news for Shadowrun fans. Shadowrun Survival Guide will be running a podcast that focuses on a day in the life of an average person. This podcast could be the worst day of a normal citizen, SIN-less or otherwise.

It could be your mother, neighbor, stuffer shack employee, wage slave, used car salesman, fixer, bartender, or any other kind of profession. We are gathering stories, experiences, interviews, and tales from the average person to give you a glimpse into the daily lives of people during an event that is life changing.

Some of these stories will focus on runners, they are after all why we are all fans of the game. But our main priority is showing you the daily lives of people and how corporations and Shadowrunners ruin lives, families, and happiness of those that are caught in the crossfire.

Our exciting news is that we have started recording some of our episodes. We have some voice actors working on recording their parts, and we are even getting started on more scripts to keep the podcast going for the foreseeable future.

As we are early in the process, we can only tell you that we are getting close to posting our first episode. I want to have it posted by summer ’19. This does have to hinge on a few things:

  • 1. I am looking for a good hosting site for podcasts.
  • 2. I am trying to fit this project into a busy real world life right now. I am dedicating a lot of time to Shadowrun, without my wife’s permission. But I can tell you that we will post an episode every month at first hoping to go to twice monthly.

My team and I are excited to be taking these first steps and hope you all enjoy these episodes when they come out. As always, let us know what you think. We enjoy hearing from you.

I have finished the bumper music, and recording the introduction episode. Working on cleaning up the recording and getting ready for posting. Still looking for a good podcast host to use. If you have any suggestions comment to this post.

    Thanks,

  2. More exciting news. Our editor now has in her hands the print copies of the first five episodes. She is working on editing and helping to recruit voice actors for the different characters. As stated before., we are still looking for suggestions for a good hosting site for podcasts. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or are interested in being a voice in a future episode, let us know and we will see what can be done.

    thanks,

    DD
